Transmission full of gas, DR125
My lovely girlfriend, left the vacum petcock on your DR125 in the prime position. As a result, the airbox and transmission filled up with gas...
It wasn't started in this condition, luckily, and I've drained the gas out of the engine. Anything else I need to do before refilling it with oil? |

Clean the carb so it doesn't happen again, the float needle has junk in it.

After you drain the engine oil , leave the oil drain bolt off and I would pour in oil to remove any hidden gas,

That's not necessary... as long as the OP got a decent drain on the contaminated oil (which drained better than normal due to its' dilution), the first time it runs long enough to get fully warmed up, what little gas might be remaining will evaporate and go out the breather pipe.
