Anyone know where these are in stock? Got a big gnarly nail in my rear tire yesterday and it's a good enough excuse to ditch the Scorpions that are on there now.

Well, clearly the tire designers at Metzeler (and Heidenau, I might add) disagree with you. Just a wild guess on my part, but I suspect that they may know a thing or two about what goes into an effective tread pattern.

Gosh, no, I hadn't! You see, on my planet, tires with wide lugs and big gaps between the treads are generally designed for surfaces other than pavement. But perhaps things are different on yours.

So Woody,
I was thinking of modding my tractor tyres to fit to my 650 dakar, reckon you could build me a wheel to suit? Or are you a bit new to the whole wheels, tyres and mud thing?

That's encouraging. I just mounted a new rear K60, but if similar reports keep trickling in, I may want to give the Karoo a try when the Heidenau is worn out. Thanks for posting that.
