Coming to AZ over the holidays...I think.

Hey, I think I'll be coming to AZ for about a week, maybe Dec. 23-28 or so (not sure yet). I am curious where I should go for single track and avoidance of snow. I would love to get on the toughest stuff you guys have. I understand if you don't want to post publicly about some trails and anything shown or told to me I would not post about (unless you wanted me to). I live in Moab so I could return the favor.
I'm open to PM's or calls also, thanks for any help!

Where in AZ are you planning to be? I'm between Phoenix and Tucson and may be able to help.

Let me know, I can set up a one day ride if you want. I'm available most days. You should know that monsoon rains can be an issue here this time of year.
I plan to be in Moab in April.

Sorry there's no single track here, or any tracks for that matter.

???
September 30th was the official end of the last monsoon season and the next season does not start until June 15th. The dates are really just a general guideline though. It really starts when the dew point averages 55 degrees or higher for more than three days in a row... which won't be for a while.

Wow! I'll pm you when I know our dates, how far from Phoenix? I'm always looking for folks to ride with here, so give me a shout when you come out regardless (I can show you the good stuff).

We did get a pretty decent storm several days ago. I think Phoenix got a little less than an inch and places higher in elevation received significant snowfall. That was pretty much the first significant storm we've had though since September. The extended forecast is mild and clear.

Will do.
I'm an hour from Phoenix, keep in mind though that the Phoenix metro area contains more people than the state of Utah so going to the other side of town isn't always as easy as it sounds.
I'm buisy on the 28th and for xmas dinner, let me know. The weather looks good.

Been riding out at Boulders and Sycamore. Looking to ride at Boulders for the next couple of days (tomorrow afternoon and the next day) anyone up for a ride? Good ST around here, I had folks explain to me where good quality ST is at both of those areas....thank goodness or I would've wasted a bunch of time out at Sycamore (don't have a GPS to download NS tracks). Thanks for the help slowred!!

I'd love to go ride Wildcat if someone wants to do that.
