PHX - Adopt a Highway Cleanup Ride
The Arizona Trail Riders converged on the Boulders OHV area to do our semi-annual Adobt-a-Highway cleanup and afterwards ride!
We split into groups and began filling blue bags with the waste of humanity.  When donuts aren't enough to quench your appetite and you're all out of Snickers...  Combing the desert.  We always get great participation at our events!

After the cleanup, we split into two groups, the A ride and the B ride - I was to lead the "B" ride...
The "B" list : EsconDeasy - Yamaha IT 490 Richard - Suzuki DRZ 400 Pammy - Honda CRF 150/250 Sara - Kawasaki KX 100 Jerry K - KTM 300 Nightstalker - Honda 450X EsconDeasy eyeing up Pammy's CRF.  Sara and her KX.  EsconDeasy brings the 490 to life.  He decided the 490 was too much and stole Pammy's CRF.  He was giggling like a school girl.  We actually had a 7th rider, Paul, but his KTM 505 didn't want to start, and with no kick start and a rekluse we were reluctant to take him into the desert.

Just getting to this spot was a challenge, the hill ahead was, well, it was steep!
 EsconDeasy was sure the 490 would motor right up.  Denied!  Jerry gave it a shot and got so close!

I thought I knew a way around. We found more hills, they seemed doable at the time...
EsconDeasy   Pammy got by with a little help from her friends.   Sara was AWESOME!!!  We busted out the team card and got her up.  Richard was really showing us the moves!   This is what that hill looked like from the bottom.

 Pammy and EsconDeasy working it on the loose rocks.  Jerry blasted up!! I don't know how I even managed to get a shot off!  Sara up next.  Man that was a tough hill!
