Today we welcomed home a wounded warrior

Today we welcomed home a wounded warrior. Over a 1000 people showed up at the airport, we rode in with the Patriot Guard.
Guess which bike we were riding

Standing room only at the airport.

Over 200 bikes escorted Josh home.

His neighborhood was draped in welcome home signs.

On his street.

Our HERO is home

Life is like riding a bicycle, to keep your balance you must keep moving.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved. Hell, some of the places I’ve been there weren’t even roads!

Good on ya for going... I totally spaced it! I've gone to a welcome home before, it's pretty moving but nothing this size!

I have two sons in Marine Corp Bootcamp, scheduled to graduate Jan 18th. It is so heart warming to see this wounded warrior receive such support and appreciation. My thanks go out to him and all the men and women who serve.

Thanks for bringing this event to our attention.

Excuse my ignorance for thinking the PG only escorts our fallen, I did not know they get involved with our wounded warriors also.

I did find this story on Joshua...
