Stearing bearing F800GS

Hi everybody, after 83.000 km of bumps, dirt, wheelies etc I finally need to change on my F8 the steering head bearings.

Someone can please tell me the size of the bearing, and better the product code of some aftermarket bearings (maybe SKF). I think the SKF code is 30205 J2 but I like to be sure before order it. To make the change I just need 2 bearings right? nothing more?.

Thanks

Jeebuz H Chryst!!!

After 83000km of bumps, dirt and wheelies you are only now needing to change you steering head bearings?

You lucky bastard!!!

I have 43000km and am on my 4th set already.

I've tried 3 different brands and it makes no difference, 12000km and they need replacement.

Oh well, it doesn't stop me from riding the bike and loving every minute of it.

Put in either brand and then have the originals gold plated and put in a Ripley's museum!
