Looks pretty good to me! I just got back tonight and I think if this forecast is accurate and I've looked at intellicast, weatherunderground, weather.com, and NOAA, and they're all predicting similar wx for the first time this year, then we might have everything available to ride. The one issue is I talk to NWS forecasters regularly and they are fairly confident in 3 day forecasts and seasonal climatology........so we're throwing blind at a dart board.

oh oh, we're screwed now!

it's totally dumping at the moment. just did a radio show on KZMU, i've got the forcast burned into my brain. so, it's going to be cold tonight in the low 20's then in the teens the next night. the snow ain't going anywhere with daytime temps in the low 40's and those low night temps for the next several days. however! as we approach next weekend we're looking at temps in the 60's! yep, 60's and almost 70 the following week. yow!

had a couple nice rides the last 2 days. time to shut off the petcock and put the bike on the stand.

ugh

That sucks, keep us posted ok, we're locked into next thursday (got a rider coming up from Tx) I wonder if whitewash will be ridable? I'd think considering te terrain, it might be more suitable till things start to thaw on thurs/fri.

I wouldn't worry Chris, looking at the forecast there isn't going to be any more snow for the rest of the week and I bet it will be perfect conditions. Moisture in the dirt and 55-60 on friday-sun. What more can you ask for

Are you thinking about whitewash one day?

Dozer & me just rode for three days over here. First day north of Moab then two days out at Chimney Rock. Best part no dust some snow on north faces.

Snow in town will be gone tomorrow. The moisture will be good, it was a tiny bit dusty when I rode today before the snow.

Bluhduh May be hosed

Just found out there's a good chance that Mrs_Thump needs to head out to NY this weekend for some family stuff that's come up. If so, that means I'll either be going with, or hanging with kiddos. Not 100% yet, but...

It would appear there's some force of nature that does not want me to make it to red dirt this winter.

Please tell me it's just dumping buckets of snow there now so I feel better. Coming on 1 month of no-bikey.
