D'oh! Not sure how I missed this thread. However, we got about 6 inches of snow in the Junk today.

I can't do Wick this year- headed to Baja for a big bike ride with some FFs from here, and my brother- 990s and 950 SE's.

Stay warm amigos- winter sucks! Tyco- no New Years day ride this year.

Ugh. I need to hibernate.

Merry Christmas to all! -ince- hug those girls for me- all of em!

Peace!

So.. I'm hearing Moab got hit as well?

This is starting to look less likely.. anyone know of something dry that's closer than Wick? Anything on upper side of NM?

You'll have to go clear to ALB to get out of the snow. I'm riding the dunes tomorrow, but it's snowing right now so it should be good and sloppy tomorrow. Everything else (all the really fun shit) will be way worse.

Not feeling so bad about missing a ride when I've been backcountry skiing and camping in BC for the last few days:

If I can figure out how to move up here, it'd be worth actually owning a sled...

VxZ - how far is Wick for you?

Anything closer that's still worth the drive and 3 days of riding right now?

I don't know, I'll have to go to GJ, buy a bunch of beer and break it down while a cross-eyed cross-country tells me what I need to do. It was just making a noise that I wasn't accustomed to...wanted a smoker, good excuse.

As I see it right now a 200 is prime for mod. tech-flowy ST. Very twitchy and pipey and the need to change gears a ton! I think I would like a 300 more, but think the 200 will make me better. Really tech, I think there's a reason everyone goes to the 300. I think that my 4 hundo and the 2 hundo will make a great combo though.

mylsmkj, Look into changing the powervalve spring and tweaking the dolly screw, you'll be surprised how tunable the pwerband is. A head mod is a another way to give it some more lowend grunt.

Bring it on over! I'd be happy to take a look at it.

You still back east? You stood me up last Friday for beers. I'm terribly, terribly hurt.

Though I did go for a ride out to your new trials course. Looking good!

Ah crap! I forgot about that. Sorry!
Still back east, it was a leap getting everything done before I left.

Tyko, it's hard to say what's wrong. I doubt its the crank, hopefully it's something in the top end (follower, cam bearing, worn out or broken chain tensioner, ect). Only way to know for sure is to open it up and look.
