You can say that again. My jacket is Vented Bomber. Fine craftsmanship. A work of art, really.

Motorrad Elektrik tried to find someone in the US to make their board... no takers. No choice other than to go overseas to get something that meets price point and provide equipment that works.

I have heard and read some real lame stuff about "...it came from Asia". Yeah? Looked deeply into a Harley. Nearly 50% is non-usa based. Same goes for most BMWs as well.

Don't forget Aerostich. Based in Duluth, MN. USA the last time I looked, but in the end, who cares? We live in a global market.

+1 for Aerostich! They donate often to rallies which is how I got my awesome Darien suit :)

On a similar note, Kermit Chair and Polar Bear soft Ice Chests are some US companies with great products that can be strapped to our bikes!

Before buying any leather coats or pants, you owe it to your body to check out http://www.langlitz.com/ Langlitz Leathers.

Also Johnson Leathers out of San Francisco. Incredibly nice stuff. I have some pants I scored on craigslist for a song. Nicest leather I have ever seen or owned. http://www.johnsonleather.com/

Vanson makes some stuff here (the upper line), the rest abroad (look for the crappy plastic patches and low price).

Airhawk as well. Roho actually, a very longstanding and highly respected maker of decubitis seats.

None of this is particularly airhead dedicated.
