Good to see some active North Texas riders. I'm located in North Ft Worth. Approximately I-35W and Heritage Trace Parkway. I work a lot of weekends, at least for now. Interviewing for a M-F gig, just hasn't happened yet. Hopefully soon, I'd like to meet up with you guys and ride.

Kool stuff Zugg, we do IT work so no luck there. I will keep my ears open.

I went out alone yesterday to Red River.
Rode from 1-4pm with light showers then 100 miles home in the rain.
I was dry due to all my gear, and cold but nothing too bad. (Sidi Adventure Rain Boots, Gortex Jacket USAF issue)

The funnest part was also the worst part. I went were most wouldn't go and then on the way down did a down hill that would have killed a lesser man. :) It shattered my front fender when I hit the large rock on the ground, but I kept moving forward.
3 riders on KTM dirt bikes were clapping, and cheering. The one on the 150 said "that was Valiant"! I think that might be the word for my film / photography company when I start.

I will go on a short ride today to an illegal area near by and take some gopro shots. (no front fender)

Welcome! Nice bike. (that's is a big bike like my KLR650) I realize your bike has more clearance and HP. So GG on that choice. What type of riding are you wanting to do and what is your experience level?

Well i consider myself pretty experienced, been riding my Dads 99 KLR, and had a GSXR sportbike. Before i got my street legs i was riding dirt on a YZ250 and a CRF230F. I am basically wanting to ride there, play and ride home. I dont own a pickup haha.

Ive had motorcross bikes before so off-road riding is not new to me, and i aint scared!

What type of riding do you guys mostly do?

My favorite spots are rocky hill climbs and technical crawls trying not to dab.

Droo, I love that video Oliver did. Those guys have some talent.

Cjsgptx, That is what I wanted to hear, as far as, riding there and back on the motorbike. I live in Irving, and go 2nd, 4th, weekends. Usually no matter what. So 23rd and/or 24th Will be going.

Sweet man, i am basically a neighbor! I live in North Grand Prairie. I am in the process of getting the new steed registered so possibly the 23 i could make it if thats cool.
