Although now that I think about it... I wonder if it would work, since the pigtails are fused. Not sure if anyone has tried it before, I read conflicting reports online...

I did it at your house that one time remember? Cold and everything. Next time we're out I'll give it a go at the bottom of a ditch while upside down, you can even urinate on me to add to the realism of a dead battery situation.

Chris, you need to ask your friend girl type person if she'd be interested in an all girl dirt school in Texas for a weekend. It's just in the potential planning stages. Just trying to get an idea of who might come play.

Oh man... looks like we are going to get hit with one big-assed storm tomorrow morning and then clear until the weekend, should be perfect traction again! (possible slightly muddy in spots)

Looks like good weather on Sat and Sun, with Sunday being great weather.
Do we wait and let it dry one more day making Sunday the better day?
I know I promised new guy 23rd. So I am game for either day, or both.

Sounds interesting, I'll suggest it to her! I imagine she'd be interested.

Looks like they got about 1" of rain this week up on the red river. I'm guessing the dirt will be nice for folks with knobbies and on the sloppy side for those with more street oriented tires.

Sunday will be better than Saturday, but if you've got knobbies I imagine both days will be fun. I'm not sure what to tell you non knobby folks, could be preeettty slippy for heavy bikes with no knobs... Then again, if its sunny/windy from now till sat/sun it could be perfect conditions for all...

*edit* My vote is for Sunday!

So who's gonna be out at Red River on Sunday and what time? Thinking of hauling up from Mckinney witht the wr250r, but I will be by myself, so I will need to find some folks to hook up with.

Everyone usually meets around 11.

With this larger group, I'm going to suggest parking and meeting at the large tree next to the kids track.

totaled the KLR

First of all, I am fine except road rash on my knees.
I was T boned tonight while I was going 65mph on a four lane divided highway.
The older lady cruised through a stop sign to the cross over to go the onsite direction of me. It was dark and she didn't seem me. I tried to gently swerve around her but she struck me. I flew 20 yards into the ditch.
Again I am ok, and I did go get bandages and x rays. Had I not been wearing Sidi Adventure Rain Dual Sport boots I would have 2 broke legs or ankles and probably have some serious rehap to walk again. as it is I am walking now. due to no KLR. lol

My cell was run over so you can't text or call. sorry.
I will check back on here tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a great time and wears all the PPE they can afford.
