MINIMOUNT - vehicle beta testers?

As some may know, I've started a new venture over the past year.

MINIMOUNT is a Netbook case that mounts to stuff. Here's where the testers come in. I need some folks with netbooks and vehicles (no not motorcycles) to check out the mounting system installation in various trucks, cars, work vans, etc. It generally bolts to the passenger seat rail and should go on in about 10 minutes. No holes and nothing permanent.

Here's how the deal works. You tell me what vehicle model you want to try it in & which netbook model you own. If you are selected, we'll send you a MINIMOUNT case and mounting kit to test. You take some snazzy pictures of the install process, give it a good go and write a simple one page report on how it all worked out.

Then you have a choice. Send it all back, and we'll give you $50. Or, keep the MINIMOUNT case and return (or buy) the mounting kit. Go ahead and post your interest here, or you can send a PM if you want to, and I'll get back to you. I probably won't even look back here until Monday with the holiday and all. No mad rush. Check out the web site to decide if you even like the idea.

I would be happy to try it in our Alfa Romeo GTV and Audi A4. Right hand drive with me being in UK. I have a samaung nc10

I'd love to try it in my F250 but I don't think my 17" Toshiba qualifies as a "net book"

I have, err the wife has an Acer aspire one. I have a 99 Dodge Ram 2500 quad cab or an 05 Chevy Aveo to mount it in.

For shur, for shur. Lots of room for passengers with the MINIMOUNT. Since the arm moves around and articulates easily, it can be instantly positioned so the passenger can use it to. That's better anyhow. Using Netbook while driving no bueno.

Family is doing great; eating me out of house and home. What else is new.. We added a big ole dog to require even more groceries.

So yes, Disco and Mini go froading! I'm on it.

Charlie is taking one of my boxes, in a support vehicle, to the Dakar in a few weeks. I do have a setup worked out for extreme conditions. The best arrangement is to use SSD, because those netbook hard drives you know, have got to be, the cheapest available. Which Acer model do you have?

Dude, there are at least six different models called Acer Aspire One. We currently support three of them. Look on the back, tell me what it says. There should be a white bar code label for US models. Anything starting with A110 or A150 or D150 is good to go now.
