The Vault has been opened

I've been a fan of the Petersen Museum in LA, and I've visited there a few times.
I'd read that they have a about a hundred cars on display, and that there were many more hidden on another floor there.
For the first time ever they've opened up the Vault to regular schlubs like us, and last night I got to enjoy a tour put on by the curator of the museum. It was well worth it. This is available only for a couple of weeks. If you're nearby, and love cars (and bikes) you should go.

Here are some pics.

Thanks for sharing

I'm a cyclist that rides motos, not a moto rider that rides bicycles.

My brother once got a private tour at the Indy museum. Lots of non-display worthy but highly signifient stuff.

Best I ever got was a private tour at the auto musuem at Balboa park in San Diego.

Best small airport mesuem, Pueblo CO. No ropes, you get to touch stuff. Including an un-restored B29
