Disabling the ABS system
Anyone know how to permanently disabling the ABS system on the 990 adventure

Lots of these guys know. It's been talked about enough.

Um, no. This nukes the speedo on later 990s.
Unplug or move the rear sensor, this will fault the system and you will be good. I'd like to know more specifics about the rear S line mod above.... S

From the what did you do thread... you posted on the page..
I removed the 2 lines to the pump and plugged the holes, got a line for the S and bled. I really like this setup... can still steer with the back when needed and for the panic situations when flying down the gravel and unexpected critters pop out... no freakin out on the front is nice.
