In Germany the sign telling you 'bends ahead', especially with more than 1 mile, is often combined with something like 'Bikers, be prepared to fall on your nose' ...

The sign warns of bends for the next 2 miles and for motorcyclist to be aware, it also highlight to car drivers that we are about. The road that was taken on is the Spittal of Glenshee road the A93 which is a great biking road in Scotland.

I am looking forward to visiting some of your great roads in the west of Deutschland next April
