I put you in before you replied. There's no way we'll let you avoid this.

1. The Great PBR 2. Nasty Gasket ![]() I've converted some of the byse to Unibroue Quebec products: I used to be on the board of the locally made Trout River, and designed and printed much of their packaging when they were getting started. People either love or hate the Trout. I've known the brewmaster for a very long time, and his heart's in it. I can't drink more than a few of them, but I still feel obligated to support the brand. It's worth trying.

You nearly lost me at PBR (horse piss) but redeemed yourself with the Quebec brews. And of course I travel with a bottle of 15 year old Glenfiddich to toast a wonderful dog of the same name lost to cancer a few years ago. Willing to share.

Date Set
I had a PM from another inmate who's planning an event in the area (North Conway NH/Fryeburg Maine) the week before Memorial Day. So as not to conflict, we'll do the Spring Rendezvous the weekend after Memorial Day, June 7th through 9th. This is more convenient, in any event, as I don't have to ask the state park system to open early.
It also cuts down on a lot of work for me. I assume that most people will want to camp in the shelters at Brighton State Park. There are 23 of them, so I don't think that we'll overburden the place. Each shelter will sleep up to eight people, but four are included in the fee, with an additional charge after that. There are also cabins. These are a little harder to reserve. If you think you'll want a cabin, please take responsibility to reserve it yourself as early as possible for as many people as are in your group. The cabins will sleep four, and include beds but no bedding (bring your sleeping bag or sheets and blankets), table, chairs, and an electric light and an outlet or two, They are unheated, and cooking and pets are not allowed inside the building. I've stayed in the cabins in the past, and they are very comfortable.. If you want to tent, or are bringing a camping trailer or RV, there are plenty of sites available for this. They are "dry" sites, and do not have electrical hook-ups. The tenting/RV sites are less expensive than the shelters. Several bath houses are distributed throughout the park, and water taps are conveniently located. Staying at Brighton for Friday and Saturday night will give most of us the opportunity to travel with fairly minimal gear, and enjoy the ride on light bikes. http://www.vtstateparks.com/htm/brighton.htm
