I have a Britannia on my KLR, and can't say enough good things about it. Ian's designs are very well thought-out, and display great attention to detail. The HID lights are the ticket for moose country. The ADVmonster is a nice piece of gear also, but to be perfectly fair, I have to give the nod to Ian's glass fiber work. It's immaculate, very thin but strong woven glass cloth. The ADVmonster appears to be made of either mat, or chop-gunned, and is a significantly weightier piece. However, with immense illumination, I'm only drawing about 28 watts with the LEDs. I'd really like to be able to run my heated jacket on the DRZ, so I've been switching everything over to LED.

The ADVmonster is about half the price.

Well, My working world slows down for a couple months so now is my time to tend to my bikes needs so when the season comes I will be ready to go and just hop on.

I will be ordering those racks from the VT'er and then my bags. where in Vt is he located.

Besides, look at the facts. The two "healthy" young guys finished the trip with a long nap -- unfortunately, one in a hospital bed. The old guy fueled on junk food took off in the middle of the night and ran Moose Alley. WTF's up with that?
