I figure I can make this like a blog, just post random stuff..Well it's been cold and raining the past few days and it's got me thinking of warmer rides.

Which naturally reminds me of riding through the desert in the spring. The weather is warm, humidity is low and all the flowers are in bloom.

The 1550 is pretty much what everyone is using. I thought yours looked bigger than the 1550'a. I like the looks of the alum top loader boxes but I am too frugal (cheap) to spend the $ they want for them when these will work. Now all I have to do is find someone to buy my stock bags.

I ride two up on most of my camping trips so weight is always a concern. If I was going solo I'd use 20mm ammo cans.
