Late model carbed Bonnie.
Honda 919 when first rode it. Then I got really good deal one one and have grown to like it. The last gen vfr800 Cb700sc nighthawk. Stock fuel injected fat boy.

A friend of mine has a Honda VTX 1300 that I tried out, what a boring ride that one is. Strike another point of Honda.

Glad to see the New Bonnevile got more than just the perennial negative vote from NJ Brett. If it hadn't got a second vote I might have been worried that I enjoy riding a bike that's not boring! I fall into the category of riders who see people who get bored as boring. I think twist and go scooters are boring but I love stealing my wife's ET 4 Vespa and taking it for a spin.

I can find no faults with this bike. On the other hand, I had absolutely no emotional reaction to it either. I want a bike that will create an emotional response from me, leaving me feeling happy when riding and when I step off of it. The bottom line is, always test ride a bike (no matter what) before you buy it. peace, Chuk |

K75s
Got a smoking deal on a very low mileage K75S. I freshed the bike up and it was the most appliance like bike I have ever owned. It did everything without hesitation but it gave the same feeling I get when taking soda out of the fridge. Sold it for a killer profit and never looked back.

Riding bikes is an EMOTIONAL experience - and that will range from pure excitement to utter dissapointment ... including boring
![]() Thats the great thing about bikes - they usually induce a reaction of some sort - good ot bad ! |

Honda Shadow 750. Omfg. No engine, brakes, suspension or seat!
Traded it for a vtec Vfr that gave me a hard on every time I even looked at it. But I was 25 so that went with most things! |

I hate to pile on, but I have to agree on the DL1000. I used to be a test ride junkie an Vintage Days and tried out many bikes from the early 90s till the mid 2000s. Boring may be too strong a word, but an overall takeaway I've had from all these rides is the fact that some bikes are simply more fun to ride than others. It's hard to quantify exactly why. I will also add the Gold Wing and the Honda ST1100. Perfectly fine bikes all, just not nearly as fun to ride as say a Speed Triple, a ZX 1200 or 1400, a Road King, or a Rocket III.

I agree with the above Goldwing comments. The bike I rode (a friend's) was just too much of a car. So, for me, since the definition of excitement is "motorcycle"...

I have "Panigale" thoughts sometimes when riding my Vee in the twisties, but then she scares the crap out of me, and I think, "she'll do"
For me it was the Harley I rented in Vegas once. No idea what is was, but it was decidedly uninspiring.
