Need brake line/bar risers v-strom help needed

Ordered the Rox 2 inch tilting bar risers for my 2012 v-strom with abs. I stopped by the parts department at the local shop today and they said that they didn't know what to order for longer brake lines - referred me a hydraulics shop

I know a lot of you have added risers to a v-strom. Where/how do you get a longer brake cable? I'm going to have them installed because of fiddling with the brake cable (obviously, not at that shop....

)

Make sure you have enough slack and room for ALL cables and hydraulics. Hydraulic clutch "cable", throttle cables, wires for both left- and right-side switchgear. I did the ProTaper ATV Hi bars and everything was quite snug, and in some cases (forgot which) it was about as tight as I could go. I suspect that your new setup will stress line length at least the same extent as the ATV Hi bars, perhaps more.

You got the right idea about the brake line, apply that principle to all other lines and wires as well.

Got the extended lines from SV, good stuff. pay attention to the little round dealies in the bag with the small parts. They go into the manifold for the two lines you'll be replacing.
Since you ride a DL650, disregard the need for a hydaulic clutch extension-you don't have a hyraulic clutch.
It will take some time to get the lines bled.
