Asking the right people

With the amount of off the beaten path riders on this board I know I have come to the right place to ask.

What's been one of your best mom and pop type places to eat in Washington, Idaho, or Oregon that was in a small community say less then 10k give or take a few people?
And what did you have?

thanks

Cheese Burgers at Plush Oregon. I like them better than the one at Fields, Oregon and those aren't too shabby.

Paco's Tacos, Twisp, WA: http://www.pacostacosonline.com

I've had most everything they make. All of it good. It's takeout only so you an either sit in their yard (which they encourage) or head down the road a touch to eat by the river in Winthrop.

if you like oysters, (which I did not before going to this place)

check out "River View Dining" on hwy 101 in South Bend, WA... nice ride out that way, too- since it's on the wet side, its usually rideable in the winter, too

just be warned, its such a small mom-n-pop place, the wait time is long, and they only take cash. (last time I checked)
since it is literally only the mom and pop working the place

but it's worth it!

Bennett's Restaurant

1800 St. Route 105 Grayland, WA 360-267-2350. Haven't been in 4 years, I found this gem kinda out in the middle of nowhere doing a coastal ride from the Cape to Cali.border. I was doing a lot of camping off the GS and hadn't had a decent restaurant meal since Seattle. Worth the stop.

A Shabam pizza from Fazarri's in Clarkston Washington , very special.
Several others are very good also.

Bojaks' in Lewiston for bite size and prawns with the french onion soup, simple menu, excellent food, been there over 50 years.

The Woodlot at Ahsahka, Id always wins the regional burger contests. Good burger and all the roads to and from are great bike roads.

Odies Skyway Cafe in Troy , Mt is good and a great place to start the Yaak area from.
