Check out 2x2cycles they have a great DIY rack that is aluminum and they are also a givi dealer I
My father and I both have there adv racks and bicycle racks and love them link at the bottom to there website.

I use the plate from GSessories which replaces the rear seat. I mounted my existing givi plate from the previous bike to the GSessoreis plate after drilling and tapping an additional 2 holes. This keeps the Givi 46L bag much lower and more forward for better weight distribution. If you dont normally carry a passenger, this is a great option, and you can remove the plate and replace the rear seat in seconds.

I have that plate (which by the way comes predrilled for the givi adapter kit now). I just can't mount my Trekker and my panniers at the same time as the panniers won't open because the trekker covers the top of them.
