If I can find a better rear tire, I'm in.

Why do I have the feeling I'm going to regret this?

There aren't any downhill sections. You should be fine.

I went last year and watched. Was planning to go back this year to watch again. I'd ride somebody else's bike, though.

Alright, I just got the KX500 to run this morning. Anyone who wants to borrow it for the races is welcome to.

This sounds fun and perfect for my xr250. Wonder how that trials tire will do on the ice. Let us know a date and ill do my best to be there.

For a bare tire class the best grip comes with more edges to grip the ice. A trials tire tends to have more lugs verses a mx knobby, so that should be a better tyre for ice. Also I would take a knife and cut sipes in the knobs, for extra traction. Look @ a dedicated ice andsnow tire, they have hundreds if not thousands of sipes in the tread to help grip the ice and snow. You will be amazed how much different it grips. Your tire will wear out quicker as a result when back in its normal habitat. Hope this helps anybody, I used to race up there a long time ago, and that is the what we did to help us win. Staying upright also helps, and I cant seem to do that on ice lately, so youall are on your own.

I didn't see any trials tires out there last time, but I've heard they work well. I was hoping to keep siping to a minimum so we can have a group that runs about the same speed without having to destroy a set of tires, but any noobs that show up would be appreciated.
