Not always. I've had an out of state rider(in a big group of out of state riders) roost a fist sized rock past my head because I just happened to be on the side of the jeep trail they were on.
Yeah, I was on a Mtn. bike riding with another friend. We had heard them coming so we stopped on the very edge of the jeep trail. They slowed to pass but the asshole in back pinned the throttle after he got by.
