So if you're OK with Dunkle and Rough Run, you should be OK with the rest of it. Famous last words and all that.
I should be ok though I'll be the slow one in the back...maybe ScottyP can wait up and keep me company.

Replaced all of my clutch innerds last night and had some help adjusting the cable. Seems to work so I just may get to flog the hack-a-sarus next weekend. I may show up Thursday nightish if I decide to leave directly from work. See YFFs then.

My pre-CCC3 checklist includes replacement of the rear tire and adjustment of the shift lever to accomodate the MX boots. And some rides with the boots on to get a feel for the difference between street boots and MX boots.

I've seen some traffic about a KLR guy who made a heel/toe shifter since his boots were so bulky and stiff. Sounds like a tempting farkle to try out.

Yes you can, and if it's late after dark you can bunk in the basement and set up camp Friday morning.

I saw this - thanks. Wish I could make such a thing. For now I'll have to try to get used to the new boots.

I took a couple of short rides today with the new boots on just to try out the shifting. After a small adjustment it works pretty good. Still takes some getting used to but I should be fine. And the new TKC80 on the rear of the KLR gives the sidestand a bit more lean so I don't have to wrestle her around so much to hop off.

See you guys next week!
