Torque Values

Anyone have the torque values for 2012 GS or know where to find them, other than BMW CD. I found this here... http://www.r1200gs.info/misc/torque.html (torque values for 2005 gs). Is it safe to assume values are same for similar components on the 2012? Thanks.

Thanks Jim. Nothing specific right now. I am going over the bikelater this week just to make sure everything is snug, I am at about 3K miles. I am going to order your CD too in a few weeks. I appreciate all your input on this thread and your website tutorials.

Is that to say your DVD media will change? I was just about to hit you up for the combo pack before I tear into my 1150. I wouldn't want an outdated set.

Not for those, they are up to date.

I will be adding a new Accessories and a new Repair DVD soon, but they will cover different subjects.

What I was really referring to are a couple of pictorials that I am going to add to my site, and on here.

I've got your CamHead DVD and love it.

The one thing I haven't seen here (and truthfully I haven't looked too hard) is the different torque values listed for using 'Never-Seez' or similar on bolts. Aren't those rated at 70% of original value? Granted, I understand the 'wet' value is only valid if the NeverSeez is used correctly - both sides of washer etc... at least that's what I have been told.

My little system here is when i've ascertained that something is the right torque i use liquid paper/tippex etc for a small witness mark on all the bolts and nuts that matter i.e. wheels , brakes, swing arms , pivots etc. A quick walk around the bike when putting on the helmet and i can ride off in confidence.
