Hi!

Just to introduce myself in this forum.... I just arrived to Perth two weeks ago..... I used to have a Transalp 700 in my homeland (Chile) but sold it before to come.

So far Australia's people is great and the city is beautiful.... the only think I don't like of this city is that is forcing my to buy a car...the first car of my life!!... but the wether and the public tranportation forced my to do it.

Mi idea was to buy a motorcicle as son as I got here, but now I have to buy a car and the motorcycle will have to wait a litle bit.... so in the future I will ask you guys about wich motorcicles are recommendable over here.

BTW: if someone needs some information about riding in Chile or the south part of Argentina, drop me a post, I will be very hapy of helping you.

Welcome Gotan, you picked a nice city, plenty of ADV guys there and some spectacular places to ride.

BTW Public transport sucks in every part of Australia.

There are a lot of ADVers in Perth . I fly in and out of Kal , at work at the moment so plenty of time to surf this site Have a look at http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210709

Hola mate, seems from the great photos that you are well prepared for life in the wild west. I came out 9 years ago and never left. But the big question is, U de Chile or Catolica. Or should that be Eagles or Dockers already?

Welcome to Perth.....

I don't have a car! Just the bike, works if you don't have to move kids around.

Lots of ADV riders in Perth.

My wife is heading over to Chile in March to hike in Patagonia [Torres del Paines] and a few mates and me are planning a Dakar 2014 tour, so I would like to have a chat sometime...

We have been talking to tour operators and bike rentals in South America for some time.

Hi Guys....

Thanks a lot for the welcoming... I'm starting to realize that we will have lot of fun around here

But we have to save a little bit to buy a proper bike (hate my car, lot of money wasted... well may be I don't hate it so much), and my equipment will arrive in a couple of months anyway.

We are living in Rivervale, and I’m not in FIFO, but anyway I will have to travel because of work.
