SO...you had lunch at SONIC in Fredericksburg.
Took an hour and one-half lunch break? What?

Ride On!

It's semi-OFFICIAL...47 hours 39 minutes!
Mac will provide the OFFICIAL time when somebody UNGLUES him from his bike!

Macadamia has made it to OCEAN BEACH SHELL in SAN DIEGO!
Photobucket

This is supposedly the END of the JACKSONVILLE, FL to SAN DIEGO, CA Iron Butt 50 CC.

Macadamia...Macadamia...where art thou?

No doubt hunting for witnesses to sign his EYEWITNESS FORM!

Congrats.

PS...I always knew Macadamia was NUTS!

As you have heard, I made it... My 50CC Quest has been accomplished. GPS info shows 2347 miles ridden in under 48 hours... I'll do a complete ride report after I've rested, complete with some cool video...

Here is the bike farkled and loaded in the hotel parking lot, on Sunday.

The bike parked in a beach parking lot, in Jacksonville Beach, FL...

Me standing in the Atlantic Ocean, taking a self portrait with my bike in the background... What an ugly mug...

Here is the bike under the pier at Ocean Beach, San Diego...

Iron Butt Hotel after the ride...

I was able to manage a smile after all...

Mac, congrats.....a great feat for sure. What did you like least and most about the ride, and perhaps the bike itself?

Welcome home

oops, I see that you'll be posting a ride report in a bit....good night,
