yep... in other words they are (back to) where they started the stage (gap/difference wise) in the O/All ... a titanic struggle today for sure - given that they are physically about 10 minutes apart on the road...

There will be mad glances at the control sheets when the make the refuel CH.

Looks like the cunning Frenchie, not only won the damn thing, but secured his WC at the second spot... I don't see Chaleco having enough piste ahead to close the gap, except for serious nav or mechanical error, and Faria is not prone to either...

Gotta hand it CD, hats off...

Barreda should be just about past Verhoeven and on Faria's heels......what are the odds they both get lost?

Riding with Ivan Jakes and Juan Pedrero Garcia, Cyril Despres is holding back a little after 153 km, where he occupies sixth place, 2'13" behind Joan Barreda. Ruben Faria lies 1'17" behind the stage leader, Francisco Lopez trails Barreda by 1'30", whilst Frans Verhoeven and Kurt Caselli are both 1'31" behind the Spaniard, in joint fourth position.

If he is opening the piste... it would be normal to drop time on the following pack... Chaleco has the advantage of five sets of tire tracks to follow... knowing that EVEN if faria get lost... if he catches him... he has caught (up with) him...

That could be a good thing for Helder, he now has 5 minutes ahead of him of clear track

I listened to that yesterday, but no ability to skip back and forth on their player sucks. Missed the announcement at the end because I got sick of it. - I was multitasking and kept missing good bits. They need to fix their player.
