France 3 and some other
I think it's safe to assume the Kawi safe will be on Eurosport later this evening

Sounds to me like he is preparing to stop and wait
I like it better than "I forgot my gloves and had to go back for 'em."

Ya Hoo!

All caught up.

Sounds like a good one today. Can't wait for some video.

You know........I did mention that Caselli was missing from trackingdakar.nl last night at 9 PM Pacific Time (post #750). There were just a couple 205 penalties for that one.

The Kawi save was impressive.

Flood - thanks for the "laymans terms" description for Myway's video player

Myway - big thanks for the video streams and code

Stepped out for lunch with my family. Picked my phone up and got my first tounge lashing of the 2013 Dakar from my wife.

Caught up on the hose niw that we are back, although not happy with some of these updates.

Glad Kevin is OK.

Helder low on fuel

Quote:
"I was doing the step according to what they had planned. Already knew that in the initial phase would lose some time when overtaking, as there was enough powder and was not taking any risks. But then I started having the ground more open and able to walk further. Unfortunately, half a dozen miles from the finish, I realized I was low on fuel and was forced to titrate the way, not to run the risk of getting stopped in the middle of the selective sector, "lamented the Portuguese driver.

The fact they put a waypoint there means they knew it was serious and that it shouldn't have caught people out.

Maybe the EFI isn't giving as good of fuel efficiency as HRC thought it would when they made the smaller fuel tanks.

Or Helder is taking too long on the course
Hope he picks up the pace a bit, another "slow" day will be tough to come back from...

There's a button that looks like a list of bullet points.
