You're not crazy - I've been using a big-a$$ magnifying glass in addition to the bifocals.

We're gonna need a good live feed for the finish line ceremonies. I see that myways has a couple of Chilean feeds on the first page, but does anyone with local experience know which is the feed to watch?

Dakar.com has the riders arriving around 1430L (gmt-3).

11:44 : Start delayed

The cloud cover is very low (roughly 200 m) over the start of today's special, which means helicopters can't take off at the moment. Therefore, the start of the motorcycle race has been delayed by an hour for safety reasons. It's also raining on the course of today's stage.

King Cyril

Looks like Cyril is heading for another win (don't tempt fate!) and I was of the impression he'd come through enduro to rallies.

Not quite and a very interesting cv: 1st Dakar in 2000 as a privateer on an XR400!

There aren't any real markers on the map as to distance, and both maps are different in scale
Haven't had time yesterday, but i'll try to make something up

I just saw something that said the ceremony isn't until tomorrow?

Talk about anti-climactic.

Anyone confirm?
