+1.
Maybe even an interview with one of them tomorrow to get their rally perspective.

A few words with Pyn and Luis would be nice too

XSpearsX promises to get us the story a bit later, with pix.

Right now I can't even imagine how tired Luis must be.

Too young to understand how much like Mission Impossible the Dakar is and so just did not know how to pace himself.

The end result is he did achieve the Mission Impossible

That was really impressive and shows at least one benefit of youth, everything still works and is more flexible.

It went something like this (pick any stage):

Well I started out real early and I rode and rode, and got past by lets see now...yes, one bike. No two....Ah..that was yesterday - well the day before actually...., Then i got passed by a lot of cars. The dust and track was terrible. Lots of fesh fesh. Then I got passed by a whole lot of trucks, and just before they were all gone, my bike died. So I pushed for 32 km and then I rested for 20 minutes before pushing another 5km, some guys helped me for a while until they had to go home. So I pulled out my last spare cylinder and fixed it. I got the bike going again and well here I am. By the way what stage is this?

BTW I just LOVE your new avatar, Bandanna Cow!!!

Well that was fun!!!

Lyndon, Luis, Si,and all you other crazy bastards. Great Job!

Cyril, You sir have gained another fan this year, well played. Kurt, great first effort and congratulations to the rest of the aliens.

F5er's, thanks for the pictures, sounds, efforts. You guys really rock. I had hoped for better personal results this year but no dice, mid pack again. I guess just finishing is what counts. Live to fight another day, right?

Now, where did I put my job and family?

Wonder how long it'll be before I quit checking back for new posts?
