Good points.

Though you largely make your own luck, I can't remember Cyril having 'the mechanical', or the 'big off'. We know that even the most talented are not perfect, but as far as I can remember, he hasn't had that moment.

Not that I wish it on him, but you gotta admit, statistically, he's due.

Dunno if HR would be the one to capitalize, PAU, Chaleco, JBB, lots of talent out there.

I think Wp4 is frozen, the front runners should have been through there by now...

If the numbers are right, then Pyn did something very right, while others guessed... poorly.

Hopefully just one of those tracker glitches we've seen so many times.

Newsletter from David Casteau

Monday, January 7, 2013 - Step 3: Pisco - Nazca

After opening the rally a large part of the third stage Pisco, Nazca, David was ranked 16th in 12'08 "winner Chaleco Lopez, and is in 5th place overall at 6'08" leader Cyril Despres.

"What a great special! enthuses David Casteu after passing the finish. I caught five or six drivers who were ahead of me and I opened all special. It's really impressive, a huge satisfaction to be found 230 km. Despres came back and we rode wheel to wheel. Then it was taken late. It was fabulous to open in the sand. There was a lot of navigation, many pilots were lost. I had to stay focused hyper, I had a headache! But I'm super happy. This gives me confidence for me to find. The motorcycle market still, I thank my trainer suspensions Andreani Group for his great work. Upon arrival, Luc Alphand told me that it was wonderful to see me ride. It was I who opened the track of Daker, before all motorcycles, cars and trucks, it puts pressure! "

Nice. Some cross cultural cooperation is always a good thing :) I think he is very focused on riding a smart race this time. He certainly has the speed and technical ability to do well.

Or do you think it has to anything with the last and most technical section you mentioned earlier ?
