After years of indifference I have warmed to Casteu (even though I dont know him) I hope he has a good one.

It shows up after a lag.
What I dislike is that it doesn't offer any sort of insight what's happening on the ground. This vicarious racing is dry enough without the delayed data.

He's getting stronger. He must like the terrain today.

Barreda's on fire, pulling more and more time. Despres now +10min, not 5min as suggested!

We got in a new sponsor for PAU and I need to find out logistics for how to reach bivouac with a package with new stickers. ANYBODY out here, any experrience with catching this train ?

we have a Mexican guy driving the RV, he can do stops and pick-up, but does anybody know if DHL in Peru or in the worst case in Argentina would be able and willing to meet at some point ?

The mean green Sprinter with mechanics must unfortunately take full focus to serve and cannot use time for this.

Any ideas are very welcome !!

You know they play with colored markers every night over there? Just have someone draw the sponsors' image and duct tape it.

I really like David. He won the Central Europe - the stand-in after the cancelled 08 Dakar on a factory KTM. When he went to Sherco, I was betting on him to win the thing. Really, really bad luck:

in the opening stages in the last three years have thrown him out of the top contenders list.

Love to see him up front again.

What a smile!

I hope so, with all the effort he done with preparations and all the work I did. He needs to keep cool head, keep the rubber side down and I know he is fast enough. Just too damn hot in the head sometimes.

I am from Slovakia, work in Norway for some ages now and are behind technical of PAU, so why not to help fellow countryman if asked ?? :)

You have to guesstimate it by looking at the color of the sky, mood swing pattern of the ASO data entry guy's wife/gf and the smell out of their kitchen sink.

I would send DHL to a big hotel along the assistance route. They get packages all the time, and the sprinter can just stop and pick up and leave a tip...
