Must have taken the ASO a few days to put all those rocks there.

I'm with Duke, though I would have probably just bailed the bike and seen how far it could get through on it's own. Less riding...

this vid/gif also shows them for what they are. nasty.
dont focus on the big one, or you’ll hit it…. Too late.
The rider did an excellent job of "unloading" and "tuck and roll"....

operations update...

Update from the Operations side of things here @ SmugMug (who hosts the advrider.com forums) is that the forum servers are hanging in there with the load the Dakar rally is creating, nothing major to worry about just yet.

Question for Ned:

So what's worse, having the special at the beginning and then a long liaison after or vice versa?

I'm surprised we don't hear of more folks taking a digger whilst falling asleep on the long slog transfers...

just noticed: from what I can tell from a picture of one of the Husky's, it seems the frame maybe of the style used in the bmw's. I know the last model 450x and the te 449 were very, very similar, but with different frames. does anyone know if the rally frame on the husky bike is indeed a husky frame, or maybe still a bmw??

yeah that gif is actually a little slower than the actual video, i think....could remove 1/2 the frames and speed it up a little.
