FFS Cyril now bumped down to 16th at WP1... when exactly is he going to "attaquer" ???

Somethings wrong. 6.36 down at WP2. I don't hink it's a matter of "riding conservatively" any more...

Or not. He can pace himself, not get too close, and have someone else with the time penalty of opening the stage.

Now, if it were to rain... I think it would really change the tactics. Not much chance of that happening in the desert, though.

Faria is 2'29" behind at WP1.
Maybe he stopped, waited for Cyril and after 2 minutes said "Oh fuck the old codger" and continued.

#178 JW Offringa is out

Jan Wouter is like the average trail rider who set himself the goal of doing Dakar. Somebody who posted on a dutch forum about this years ago and made his dream come true.

After 5 longs days he met his Waterloo yesterday, at the end of Stage 6.

He was running in the back of the field and after struggling through the past stages, running in the back of the field and having had a 24hr riding day he came up on the final fuel stop to find it empty.

The gastrucks had left and there was no other option for him then to join the recovery truck.

The Red Lantern has now been passed on to Luis on his KTM 150cc 2 stroke.

Go Luis!!
