does caselli have to stop for despres anyway? he's not his water carrier after all....

seems like something might have gone wrong for despres even before he could catch faria, meaning he has to limp to the bivvy with whatever problems he has...

Seems like a lot of riders have had navigation issues around/before WP1. Many guys in the back of the field jumping 10-20 or even 30 positions before being overtaken again. Van Ginkel(#083) moved from 87 to 57 in the space of 30 minutes racing...

Unless the top guys where going for a 'spares' stop :)

Even though his lead is slight, Kurt Caselli still remains out in front of the special ahead of Olivier Pain and Frans Verhoeven by 1'11". At the 142-km point, Cyril Despres has again lost time and trails the stage leader by 8'59". Another of the leading trio in the general standings, David Casteu has posted a time in the top 10, a little less than 3 minutes behind Caselli.
