So, Barreda lead the track from the front all day - flatbill off to him, that was some riding and navigating - no reference to spacemen just yet though, some way to go

And on the best part of a 6 hour special!

His official last name is Barreda. Bort is his mother's maiden name.

That's how they do names in Spain and the Spanish language countries: Juanito (daddy's last name) (mommy's last name)

On a number of stages with multiple loops it was a pleasure to see him pass me by, dueling with Coma and it is awesome to experience the speed and grace at which these professional sportsmen go about their day job.
What is also clearly obvious when you actually put yourself in to the arena instead of commenting from behind a keyboard is how terrifying riding at speed is in the desert! I have the utmost respect for these guys and how they feed their families and if you were to witness them at full chat, 170kms over rocky ground then you may not be so quick to judge them when they are in their 'zone'.
A lot rests in their hands at the DSS, not least their life and livelyhood.
Let's be thankful we still have true heroes in this sanitised world!
Go Cyril!
And get well soon Marc!

Looks like mostly on track, typical Argentinian WRC style rally stage. Of course they may include some navigational challenges, depending on how populated the area is (when there's a big chance of high spectator output, they keep the racers mostly on track. You don't want to have a KAMAZ barelling down on an oncoming Fiat full of locals).

Just wait until Pain is in the ASS, everybody wants to have fun with that one, every day.
Nobody here will make it big as a comedian.
