The highlight of his stay ( if there could ever be one under the circumstances) was watching Johnny's film whilst sat on his couch

Keep at it JC and get yourself to the end

Question ASO weather station: If the string is wet... it's raining...

If the string is casting a shadow... it's sunny...

Day Jan 16

100FHigh
Mostly Sunny

Chance of rain:
10%
Wind:
ESE at 11 mph
Humidity:
35%
UV Index:
11 - Extreme
Sunshine and a few clouds. Very hot. High around 100F. Winds ESE at 10 to 15 mph.

Conflicting weather reports eh...?

Someone on the ground there is gonna have to stick their head outside and take a look for confirmation?!

If the string is gone... CALL THE FEDERALES...!!! Someone's stolen the ASO's high tech weather forecasting station!

(It was probably part of the group buy deal with the results and tracker package... )

Seems like there may be some conflicting weather forecasts - mind you it's a rather large area and better still it isn't going to affect any of us

Yesterday the media said the racers were in 49 Celsius heat, that forecast showed 26. It shows 26 again for today...looks like another hot one.

F5 is slowing down, only a few pages to read this morning. After day 10 even the fans become exhausted and sort of mentally numb

Should be another interesting day of racing today

Lyndon sounded, well......like you'd expect after 10 days of Dakar. GO!!!!!

Luis is defying the odds.....again. 3 days of dunes with a high altitude liaison ahead of him.

As always, thanks for the RR Nate, it really adds to the experience

Well..... my boss is demanding I go back to work today

You mean like Casteu saying: You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig.

No man, it's Casteu, the nicest man in the bivouac! More like "Why don't you sit in the shade and hand me the shovel?" Lavigne:"With your luck, you're able to break a heavy-duty Land Cruiser. No shovel for you."
