It's hard to imagine how hard it is to get to the start line. The investment of time, energy, and money is all-consuming. I know this is the reality Kevin has been living firsthand, and for it to come apart so early is heart wrenching.

I'm not getting too crazy, I'll just DVR the 2:30 am(EST) delayed showings on NBCSN. I may go to one of the web sites to watch, but Robby isn't off to a great start. I'm thinking that Hummer is just too big & heavy for the SA Dakar. Everyone else are in vehicles that are about half the size.

Is there any Americans (Yanks) racing on motos?
