Going to be a long day for Luis and Don Hatton (among others). Let's hope they keep plugging away...

What´s the overall standings after ss2?
As I´m reading I´m assuming Rúben 2, Despres 5 and Helder 15!
Is that correct?
I´m almost 100 % shure that Rúben will whait for Despres!

Hopefully nothing too serious, he was doing great so far...
Mauricio "Paco" Gomez is part of the Yamaha Argentiona Team.
His team mate is Marcos Patronelli (leader in quads), he has just reported that Paco had an accident and broke his shoulder. He is OK, and bike also, but obviously not able to continue!

Very sad was doing great

Cyril went onto to say the stage was not bad, the Sand was not hard and trhe dunes were easy but he made a navigational mistake and thats what caught him.

Sounded very VERY tired and disappointed to be honest.

A Question for you experts: TEAM RULES: Can they make Predrero Garcia water carrier for Despres instead of Faria?

Thought for SS3 - Despres is 8 mins 50 down overall, his is starting 12th tomorrow, Barreda is leading. As Fishy has said, he rode flat out today so under normal circumstances Cyril would be well placed to get this time back tomorrow, but without errors it looks the pace may just be too intense, or will it?

From Planet Robby´s FB
Stage 2 Top 5 at KM50 of 242 1) Al-Attiyah 2) Sainz +3s) Chichert +26s 4) Peterhansel +1m4s 5) Roma +1m8s 14) GORDON +3m33s

Nasser & Sainz have had issues, so look for Gordon to jump up the leader board at the KM100 update

I just listened to Cyril Depres on Fox Argentina. Paraphrasing: "it was a difficult stage. Harder than expected. The dunes / sand wasn't that difficult, but navigation was tough. He lost a lot of time on navigation errors."

I think he and Farias were together.

Laia is certainly mixing it up with the men. Notice she is in ahead of HRC rider Pizzolito, British hero Stan Watt (Irish) and Si Pavey. Not to mention only 50 seconds behind British crowd favorite James West. Let's hope the bike stays good (it is a Gas Gas/Yamaha after all) and she keeps her pace and navigation.

Amazing thing for me is that this woman is better known for her ability on the trials bike (multiple world champion).

I think so. That is a team decision. But they won´t do it in my opinion.
