Post pics! I found one of those locally here years ago and picked it up for an out of town friend who wanted it for his wife. It sat in my garage for several weeks before they came to get it. Really pretty little bikes, and rare I guess, haven't seen one for sale before or since.

First I need to get it going. Previous owner bought it , rode it a few times and then stored it for 18 months, so I tried getting it going but no luck so far. Pushed it up and down the road a few times, got a bit of firing but not enough to keep running.
Then found an electrical fault which first needs fixing. Wanted to take the chain off, which is all rusted and gunged, but that master link does not want to let go. so step 1 - solder wire. step 2 - try and run it again - hopefully on a warmish day when it runs - take it out for a good run - hopefully the chain loosens a bit (i have oiled it) Start cleaning it a bit ride some more - take some photos then disassemble |

Yes Im thinking of doing a minimalist bike. keep it very simple. The less on the better.
I might do double small round headlights. I'm think of loosing the airbox and battery box (move the battery to somewhere) small air filter no side covers Need a tailpiece - maybe a mod - that ones a bit cracked and I need a colour scheme Though I will say that if I could obtain a new or good condition front fairing, my plans may change. Front fairings for that bike in NZ would be unobtainable im guessing. will see It really looks good with that fairing, but naked is fine Im thinking Silver frame Maybe orange rim rings - but spokes black or silver calipers red or blue Discs gold as usual Tank - maybe white with Orange- to match rims? and tailpiece same Engine - allow and metal colours - not black |

Give that some serious thought. Jets are nearly impossible to find and the carbs are a bitch to tune. Not saying it's impossible, you just need to be very committed. Keep us posted

Damn
Fixed the wiring fault, but still cant get it started. There is spark, there is fuel, not sure if flooded though There was a small dose of firing - a few pops any ideas anyone? reckon is should inject some fuel into the plug hole and see |
