If the US backline is like it was in Cleveland, Germany should be able to stroll right through to the goal line. Just awful defending.

We'll see. I think it depends a bit on the weather. That was the thing mostly helping Ecuador.

Bayern completed their triple yesterday.

Most discussed talent of the night. Neuer holding a beer glass of this size with one hand.

How many of these guys are on the National Team and therefore will not play in the friendly against USA?

17 players are missing as far as I know.

Lars Bender as rightback interesting. Sven Bender as right defensive midfield. I wouldn't want to play against them on this side.

Nobody really cares about this trip. Klinsmann will be undisputed for at least 3 month after a win.

And I have to correct you, 4-2.

edit: 4-3

I see your 4-2 and raise you 4-3

The US really lost focus there and they didn't seem to have a clue in the last third defensively. I have to wonder exactly what Klinsmann is teaching them because they were a better defense under Bradley.

Nice to see Altidore actually make an effort and Dempsey was his usual quality self. It seems unlikely this team could even play for a draw under a full strength German team though.

Yes, England did draw with Brazil at the Maracana

Haven't seen the game apart from Rooney's sweet goal

But, if Brazil can't beat England at home (and lose away to them) I don't fancy their chances at the WC. Argentina have to be close favorites with Spain and Germany.

Really sloppy defending at both ends. Even a below strength Germany still manged to claw back 3 goals. USA has problems at both CBs and at LB. Still not sold on Jones, either.

Donovan's coming back. That may or may not be good, not sure. Altidore's been working hard for the USA and it's nice to see him finally get a good goal. He had some really nice touches, too.

Chelsea spent 20 million Euros for Schurrle and I cannot figure out why. He's not special, they don't need him and they already have DeBruyne, who seems to be his equal in size and talent. It's another one of those mysteries.

Rooneys goal was not sweet, it was a deflection.

In other news, Liverpool look like they have picked up Iago Asapas and Kolo Toure. I like Toure and think he was quality for Arsenal, but I dont know anything about Asapas, anyone watch La Liga?

?

P.s. still one goal and one assist more than Neymar.

P.p.s. I've just watched all four and the Brazilians goals were just poor defending on England's part. England's were actually quite Brazilian

Nah, not taking anything away from the win, but it was a garbage goal. Also his overhead kick was garbage because it came off his shin lol
