WR250 - need some views
Dear all,
I'm an airhead rider who is looking to better my dirt confidence and skills. I am thinking of getting a WR250 for this purpose and would like some views as to how appropriate this bike will be. I have a concern about the height of the bike, I have a short inseam and can barely tiptoe one. Is it possible to lower one and if so by much? Cheers |

Do some reading, it has all been said already:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329337 http://wr250rforum.forumotion.com/ http://rickramsey.net/WR250R.htm http://rickramsey.net/WR250Rmods.htm#lower http://www.wrrdualsport.com/tech-gui...15-lowering-r2 You can lower it approx 2". The first inch is free (see last 2 links above) by lowering the shock and dropping the top clamp. The 2nd inch requires a Yamalink (dogbone). Edit - I assumed WR250R/X jon_l screwed with this post 01-02-2013 at 06:34 AM |

Reckon a X.
Dual sport tires will be on it for hard pack trails. Not off-road. Read about the Yamalink. Will be an essential mod. Thanks fellas |
