Try this one: http://www.autospies.com/news/2013-H...ck-Test-72420/ Edmunds has exactly the same info. It's 6.2 seconds for 0-60. 5.7 was the time for the Accord with a 1 ft rollout to 60. So yes, the lowly 325 hp Mustang beat it to 60 by more than a second.

I said VW Camry out loud at least five times today and laughed each time. Thank you for that.

![]() i know from a transmission standpoint that gm & ford have been reducing part count for the last several years, particularly on the jointly developed 6 speed automatics. mazda, toyota and honda are somewhat late to the party, but the big2 may leap past the domestics in a couple years. there's been a lot of consolidation amongst suppliers, so it's not uncommon to see similar designs at the component level (even shared parts, depending on who's paying for tooling) across multiple customers. reusing parts across platforms saves everyone money and typically leads to the same part count reductions.

Eh it could be worse.....plus if it gets punted to the basement that would be kinda appropriate since I mostly post there.
I'm loving it and I'm still shocked at how far cars have come. I've had a 93, 97, and 00 car all of which were top trim levels and came with roughly the same interior features. Now this 2013 base model mid sized car blows em away. For my 1st full day review VW really is doing it right with this car; while it doesn't kick ass in any way like acceleration, handling, interior materials, it does them well and to do that across the board is rare from my recent experience. And most importantly this car doesn't feel anywhere near as big as it is. Driving is closer to my 2000 Civic than the 97 Accord. To be cliche it looks and feels like a more expensive car that they took away features from, while cars like the Accord, 200, or Legacy. I haven't driven the 2013 Accord, but I did sit in one and that interior is a big step up from the previous model which I hated but still Honda has some work to do. With the 200 the interior just seems like a few things were pasted in, though again it's a huge improvement from the old Sebring. And I don't know much about older Legacy's but they brought a base model for me to test drive since I needed a standard and it had that cheap feel to it. 3 areas where it stands out are the shifter which clunks into every gear like it should, the sound system which is way more than I need, and like I was saying the fit and finish.
