I have been using one of these for years on my 1986 g/s, its a fantastic piece of engineering and works brilliantly.

Just sent an inquiry... since none of you all are posting a price I asked for it and shipping to SoCal.
No bucket of money lying around my place so it's important to me. wow that was a fast reply... Hi I have a few left. They are 250 euros incl. p&p to the US. You can pay via PayPal with GIFT OPTION to lesgim@gmail.com Best regards, Migsel 250 Euro equals 329.62 US Dollar Which is to say I don't have a bucket that big.

Most probably one should be careful if they have a business and recommend that payment for a product or service is done via the 'GIFT OPTION'. PayPal is not one that likes to be in the charity business or give away free service. Carl |

If you deal with any European vendors, when they accept Paypal, they ask this... Not like Paypal is not making any money: they just charge the sender....
How much does it cost when the bike fall over cause of the damn stock lateral stand, how ridiculous does anyone looks trying to push the stock stand under/around the jug??? |

It's a beautiful stand, glad you like it. If I had the money, I'd get one myself. As is, I've got a 34" inseam and it's real easy for me me to do the stock stand. I usually just dismount on the wheels then chuck it up on the centerstand. YMMV. My sidestand is the modified, stay down one.

With all the weather we had here I had no time to ride the GS... With the new side stand I can not put my foot under the gearshift... Try to adjust the pedal but it is not long enough... Is there a way to move it more (at the shaft?)?
Thanks. |

So I took the shit lever out... Is this the most un practical thing ever done?? On any bike the rod shifter has 2 threads one right and one left to lower or raise the lever. This one is the same thread on both sides?? I cut it and thread it more in the center to make it shorter (lever higher) but I still do not understand how to put it back while screwing one side, the other un screw itself?!

Disconnect one end of the rod..adjust to desired length and then reattach. You can't adjust it with both ends connected as you found out.

Thanks JRP... So basically I will loose the 2-3 turns on one side need to bolt it on the other side? Maybe I'll try to screw it on both sides, install the pedal in the right position and screw both sides at the same time? No very German-efficiency IMHO!!

I had the same problem
I cut the end off the original shifter and installed a " shifter roller ", also from Migsel.
![]() It works very well.
