Wunderlich GSA Splash Guard, are they worth the money?

Hey guys!
I am thinking about purchasing a set of Wunderlich Splash guards for my 11 GSA. The ones that mount below the cylinders to keep the splash down on your feet and legs. Should work for cold weather as well.
If anyone has them, could you tell me if there worth $159.00?

Thanks for any info

I am in the process of purchasing a set for mine from an inmate for cheaper than your quoted price. I ride in one of the foggiest, dampest areas in Canada.
If i lived in Vegas maybe i would use the money for a fan mounted to the oil cooler instead.

If I still had every dollar I spent on motorbikes I would be a richer man but a poorer person.

Cool2 splash guard

Their good as long as you dont hit any big puddles. I had mine on my bike for a good two years, did okay but when i rode in the rain it was usually on the highway, but this last time, heading to work it was raining really hard-i was doing about 30mph when i hit this huge puddle, broke both splash guards, bent the alumin. hangers back like they were paper.
There is a mud flap type of rainguard at the last MOA rally that i seen which im going to get, it was built like a tank-granted not as pretty as the Wunderlich but they will not brake off either.

update

Just looked up wunderlich and i seen they have mudflaps almost like the ones i seen at the rally. I guess they seen that their original design was not to good. however the other ones have a much thicker rubber and alumn. bar. i soon as i can find the pics ill post them.

Perfect

Thanks Jim03R for the info on the Excel GS & ADV Toe Guards link! That is what I am looking for. I can put them on for my long trips and pop them off when I am just running around town.

Thanks again!

I have a set of mudflaps/toe guards I'm selling right now off my 1200gsa. They are in the flea market or u can PM me.

They are great but won't fit with advdesigns crashbars extensions.
