I hate those f'ing bars. Taste like your chewing on a dried up corn-cob or something.

If you wanted real energy....

Maybe we should just strap duffel bags to our fenders with cinch straps and see how that goes? Oh, wait... some silly f%ck already tried that.
Yea, I'm just kidding about all that. In fact, Cortney being able to attend the MB is much more important than you being able to attend. no, seriously

I would say July for the same reasons as Pablo, more daylight hours.

Are you sure you will be let out to play by the new wife?

All I hope for is that this ride is not on a RMAR ride date.

As I had mentioned early on, I am going to try and go back to the roots of the ride and focus on as much gnar singletrack that I can tie together for 3 days. I am going to do my best to reduce the amount of "road" riding (AKA"fluff miles") this year. The fact that we ended before dark last year leads me to believe it was too easy - (at least the final day). We did have a great crew last year, and we had a great flow, but its time to up the bar again. Like I said, bring your big-boy pants this year.

Some of the goodness will be familiar, some will be completely new. I have a few ideas on the overall flow, but it will more than likely be a secret except for a select few that help with the pre-riding. The last thing I want is for this ride to be stagnant from one year to the next following the same route.
I want to keep challenging everyone to "up" thier game each year.

Yep, sorry about that. It was the only day we could all make the ride. There just aren't enough weekends available here during the summer.

I am a bit sad this week...It looks like I will have to sit this one out.
My first son wants to attend a Domestic Adoption Camp again, like we did last summer and it falls on those dates. At least I don't have to choose between RMAR and Monkeybutt..pretty bummed because i wanted to really step up and help more with RMAR since it is so close and was looking forward to a more challenging Monkeybutt..oh well..

I am a father first, and keeping my priorities straight will have rewards in the future. This is a great opportunity for him to have a long weekend with a group of peers with some similar backgrounds, and there is good workshops for the adults as well..

Looks like you will need to elect someone else for the glorious duty of the morning wakeup call!

I will still try to put together something for a fall Moab trip, and hope to meetup with some of the spring trips down there as well. I also have a "Vision" of a torturous one, possibly two day San Juan jaunt that I want to make happen, will post more details closer to summer.

I am out too. I will be behind the big puddle in Czech in July.
Hopely there will be another MB in fall in Utah.

Good luck and have fun!

That's a difficult spot to fill.
