KTM Orange paint match - off the shelf?
Does anyone know if there is an off the shelf spray paint that matches the KTM orange? Something like a spray paint readily available like Rustoleum, etc.
Thanks in advance P.S. - this isn't about being a cheap-ass and not using a body shop to paint. It's for painting parts that constantly get scratched, mangled, etc - like my crash bars since I'm useless off road and find myself eating dirt often :)

Neighbor painted his rear frame with Rustolem "True Orange" in a rattlecan, is very, very close. Just a tiny bit more yellow. You can only tell if there is a KTM powder coated part nearby.
There is a thread with the powdercoat official numbers. Looking... http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...t=powder+paint

i have always used the Krylon o.s.h.a. safety orange. buy it at the local ace hardware. it's really close, especially if only doing small pieces.
here is a pic of my 640. the orange heat shield is done in that paint. ![]() here is a close up. ![]() like i said, pretty close. laramie
