a little extra time to bash ktm

...since my piece-o-crap ktm is still in the shop (for god knows what) & its sunday & I don't have anything to ride (my passion)...I would like to take a few moments to tell everyone that reads this thread what an utter piece of crap my ktm 950 is.

If anyone is cosidering or knows anyone that is considering purchasing a 950 or ANY ktm ...please reconsider & learn from my mistake...don't do it. ktm's are a piece of shit & the dealers have no idea what they are doing...yea ALL the dealers...one bad apple DOES spoil the whole barrel. bitter yea I'm bitter.kiss my ass ktm.

I had all day to think about my KTM too.

I was thinking of it when I was doing this

...and this

...and this

...and this

...and this

...and this

...and this

A little after the hill I ran into some big snow drifts that I couldn't get through becouse of my piece of crap TKC.

So I had to turn around and do it all again going the other way.
If your thinking of getting a TKC 80 for your bike dont do it. They are really fun, but sooner or latter they wear out and then their traction is crap.
Hey wesfnw I had a hell of a good time on my 950 today. Must be a karma thing. What did you do?

Just another day in paradise:

For me it is a simple mathematical equation. The bike (like all bikes) has
some potential faults. Just by the law of probability there is a chance that
Customer "X"'s bike will have ALL the faults + Dealer "Y" is below average, and
then you sprinkle in a little unluckiness and a very stroppy customer, and this
will happen. Its just a 10,000-1 probability. Unfortunate but that's life.

Me? I am happy to take that 10,000-1 chance 'cos it's the best damn thing on 2 wheels. If you gave me a $50,000 budget I wouldn't switch bikes (might buy a 950SM as well though!!!!).

Wes, if you want to bash anyone, bash the f-ing dealer that cannot fix the damn thing. It's not KTM's fault that the dealer doen't know his ass from a burnt clutch or elaking water pump. So, who is the dealer? Warn us about them so we do not have that dealer f@($ our bikes up too.

Who's the STUPID dealer?

I LOVE my KTM

I feel for you Wes. No one likes a side-lined bike. But... the key thing is it is your bike that's sidelined. Don't go down the whiny path of certain individuals who've had issues with bikes and now make new anti 'whatever pissed them off about a bike they no longer own' threads the minute their last one drops to page 3, despite not offerring anything new or relevant and don't become the KTM version of 'BMW disowned me as a customer ' either. You lose credibility, such as it is on this forum, but also when you do post something relevant ot the bike, you'll eventually be ignored .

I think it would be more beneficial for you to find out what the current issue is, post it here, and use the knowledge some have gained here to steer your dealer in the right direction, in terms of repairs. I'm not blaming the dealer, KTM or yourself for your bike being side-lined. I'm just saying get it fixed as quickly and efficiently as possible, sell it or ride it, and bottom-line, get back to enjoying your passion. Use this site for what it is intended for. Good luck.
